Welcome to Mahi

Tēnā koutou katoa. He mihi nui ki a koutou katoa. Anei ētahi pānui e pā ana ki ngā mahi tūranga wātea. Welcome to the mahi website, containing Māori-focused employment opportunities. Mahi was the first and is the largest site of its kind. Operational for over ten years we have the most complete listings of Māori-focused jobs, with approximately between 20 - 30 positions on the site at any one time. The positions we advertise cover all sectors and range from graduate level to CEO positioned throughout the country.

Flick us your e-mail address if you would like to receive our free e-mail pānui of mahi posted during the week. And of course if you would like to advertise we would love to hear from you, our rates are competitive. I hope you find the right job for you, your whānau or friends here on the mahi site!

Clients Testimonials

I have worked with Pori and her team at Mahi since January 2010. During this time I have received wonderful service, sometimes going further than requested in order for my adverts to reach ideal markets. I appreciate the professional approach that Pori gives to all my work and would have no hesitation in recommending both her and the Mahi website to all who work in recruitment and need to advertise their vacancies.
Gill Mathieson, Te Wananga o Aotearoa
Pori was extremely helpful in providing detailed information about Mahi and their services. We found the service to be fast, efficient, thorough and professional. Having an online job seeker platform specific for Maori is important and we will continue to support our Maori whanaunga/colleagues in business as much as possible
Horiana MacGregor / Kahui Tautoko Consulting Limited
thank you for your response and I look forward to the panui. I am currently in Brisbane working as the Operations Manager for a medical company. I am always looking to return to Aotearoa (possibly in the new year). I came across your site and loved the concept of helping our people into employment. This is something I would love to do, moreso to help anyone get employment whether here in Australia or back home.

I have recently returned from many years in Australia as a CEO of a not for profit organisation. I found it incredibly difficult finding positions of a similar calibre in kaupapa Maori environments until I found Each Friday afternoon I received a list of relevant positions in government, the private sector and NFPs. as well as information I needed to make a decision about the next step. assisted me into my current role and I still maintain an interest and look forward to the all -important list each Friday. Ka mihi nui
