LEAD WITH PURPOSE
Huakina Development Trust is seeking an experienced and values-led Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation through its next phase of strategy delivery and sustainable development.
Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the Chief Executive Officer will provide strategic leadership and be accountable for the organisation’s overall performance, ensuring its vision, priorities and objectives are translated into meaningful outcomes. This includes leading strategy implementation, strengthening organisational capability, supporting and developing people, overseeing financial sustainability, building effective partnerships and ensuring robust governance, risk management and operational practices.
At the heart of this role is a commitment to Oranga Tangata, Oranga Taiao and whaanau-centred outcomes. The successful candidate will champion the wellbeing of people, the health of the environment and the aspirations of whaanau. You will build and nurture trusted relationships across iwi, communities, government, funders and strategic partners, bringing people together around a shared purpose and creating opportunities for lasting, positive change.
