Ko wai tātou | Job Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Chief Executive on a permanent, full-time basis. Reporting to the Co-Chairs Board of Trustees, you'll provide exemplary operational leadership by driving implementation of annual and long-term organisational plans in accordance with Te Moana a Toi’s Business Plan. This critical role encompasses strengthening key stakeholder relationships, building organisational culture focused on performance and measurable outcomes, optimising workforce capabilities and operational processes, and ensuring core services are delivered within contracted parameters and budget. You'll be instrumental in steering the organisation toward optimal growth while maintaining our commitment to culturally responsive healthcare delivery.

Tohu me te wheako | Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Management, Public Administration or related field
  • Proven senior executive experience in healthcare, Māori organisations, or similar sectors
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and organisational leadership
  • Strong understanding of Māori health systems and cultural frameworks
  • Experience managing budgets, human resources, and operational delivery
  • Experience working with governance structures and Board relationships
