Āu ake mahi - What you'll do
We're on the lookout for our next Customer Support Officer to join our Parking Services team. This role is an exciting multifunctional role that will work across the full range of services provided by the Customer Support Team.
You will be working with members of the Pōneke community who are appealing an infringement, requesting permits and parking coupons. You will be a calm presence for these members of the community, ensuring that their query is resolved quickly and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will also include the following:
- Using the appropriate legislation and judgement to resolve and respond to enquiries, complaints, appeals and requests for information in relation to parking infringements
- Ensuring customers are provided with clear and correct information
- Issuing parking permits in a timely manner, ensuring an up-to-date parking permit database is kept
- Providing administrative support to the wider Parking Services team as required
Ngā tohu me ngā wheako - Qualifications and experience
We're looking for someone who brings:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience correctly interpreting legislation to make informed decisions
- High level of problem solving and decision-making skills
- Extensive experience in an administration role, particularly working with members of the public by both written and verbal communication
The salary range for this role is $63,029 - $74,151 and appointment will be dependent on relevant skills and experience.
