Te Ropu Wahine Māori Toko i te Ora | The Māori Women’s Welfare League is seeking a highly capable Kaiwhakahaere to lead the national operations of our organisation. This pivotal role supports the financial and operational wellbeing of the League, with responsibility for overseeing the consolidated audited accounts, managing national contracts, coordinating our annual conference and affiliations, and supporting the delivery of our strategic objectives.

The role requires a confident, calm, and professional leader who is comfortable working in both Māori and non-Māori settings. The ideal candidate will bring a strong work ethic, a broad skillset, and the ability to guide and support both internal operations and member relationships. The Kaiwhakahaere will work closely with the National Executive Committee, manage national staff, and maintain active communication with regional executives and branch members, ensuring smooth, responsive support across our motu.

This is a rare opportunity to bring your leadership, operational expertise, and cultural insight to a role that makes a tangible difference in the lives of wāhine Māori and whānau across Aotearoa.
