The Role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi
We're looking for an organised Facilitator Development Coordinator to support the quality and consistency of our workshop delivery across Aotearoa. In this role, you’ll lead the onboarding, coaching, and development of our contracted facilitators, ensuring they are well-supported and aligned with Blueprint’s standards. This includes observing workshops (online and in-person), providing feedback, and coordinating training events.
You'll work closely with kaiwhaako/facilitators, project leads, and the wider Blueprint team to ensure our kaiwhakaako/facilitators are supported in a mana-enhancing way to do what they do best — creating meaningful, high-quality learning experiences for participants.
Some of your responsibilities may include:
- Lead the onboarding, induction, and mentoring process for new facilitators.
- Coordinate and conduct workshop observations, providing feedback and development support.
- Maintain accurate documentation and report on facilitator progress and quality.
- Lead the planning and delivery of facilitator training events.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of facilitation tools and processes.
- Work with leadership on professional development and performance matters.
This role is working 4 days per week, Monday to Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm.
You | mou
Ideally, you’ll have experience working in a similar role or undertaking similar tasks.
- Workshop facilitation experience in the mental health and or addiction sector
- Values lived experience of mental distress and or substance use and recovery, and disability
- Willingness and ability to travel throughout Aotearoa New Zealand to conduct facilitator observations.
- Commitment to personally apply the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi in the work you do.
- An understanding of recovery principles and strength-based approaches, and the social model of disability.
