Telesales Agent

Tauranga, Bay of Plenty

Contract (10 hours per week)

$40 per hour plus commission (OTE: $3000 per month)

We’re looking for a confident communicator who thrives on connecting with decision-makers and scheduling high-value appointments that lead to real change in organisations.

Working 10 hours per week, your primary objective will be to cold call organisations and schedule quality needs meetings for us to progress into a working relationship. Also, you will help shape the effectiveness of our sales process through your experience and insights.

What You’ll Do

• Make outbound calls to potential B2B clients.
• Identify decision-makers and schedule appointments.
• Listen well and identify people and business needs through asking great questions.
• Communicate clearly and persuasively, aligning our services to business needs.
• Assist in building effective sales approaches and processes.
• Maintain accurate CRM records.
• Continuously strive to develop yourself through learning and experimentation.

What You’ll Bring (Critical, Essential, Desirable)

• Proven experience in B2B sales, telesales, or outbound calling (minimum 1–2 years).
• Ability to connect with people, listen well, build trust, and understand their needs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for customer interaction and internal processes.
• Strong wellbeing and continuous development practices.
• Experience in engaging with te ao Māori including kaupapa Māori organisations, and other contexts where te reo Māori me ōna tikanga are paramount.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Quick learning ability – comfortable picking up new tools, processes, and industry knowledge.
• Ability to self-reflect and adapt based on feedback and performance metrics.
• Ability to learn technology systems.
