As a Business Development Advisor, you will play a crucial role in driving sales outcomes and promoting BCITO qualifications within the building and construction industry. Working closely with trade sectors, employers, schools, and other stakeholders, you will grow client relationships, identify potential customers, and conduct research to increase sales and enrolments.

We are seeking a proactive and energetic individual with a go-getter attitude to drive sales growth. Strong communication skills and a strategic mindset are essential as you identify new business opportunities to help shape the future of vocational education and training in New Zealand.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop sales plans and target trade sectors Employers to gain trainee sign-ups
  • Build and maintain relationships with current and potential employers
  • Promote BCITO's offerings to external stakeholders
  • Utilise CRM to track opportunities and provide top-notch customer service
  • Identify and prospect employers to build and grow a quality database

Key Requirements:

  • Proven sales experience, including cold calling and prospecting new business leads
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Self-motivated and results-driven mindset to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • IT savvy with sound knowledge of CRM systems.
